For the past 13 years, Linda has worked in the Legal Department at the Saint Paul Port Authority, currently as a Certified Paralegal and previously in other roles.  Before her time with the Port Authority, she worked her entire career in the private and corporate legal world and is well-versed in corporate, business and contract law, as well as insurance and risk management.  She started with UMWA as a member assisting the Treasurer. She was then elected Treasurer and now holds a position on the Board of Directors.  She has been an advocate of UMWA and the Upper Mississippi River in increasing the public's knowledge of river commerce.
