ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $12.8 million contract to
Hendrickson Transportation, LLC, of Hamburg, Iowa, yesterday, Feb. 22, to complete the Oxbow-Hickson-Bakke Ring Levee portion of the Fargo, North Dakota/Moorhead, Minnesota, Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project, also known as the FM Area Diversion.

PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, will celebrate the completion of the Sandy Lake Dam rehabilitation project with a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony on Aug. 2 at the Sandy Lake Recreation Area at 1 p.m. The recreation area is located at 22205 531st Lane, McGregor, Minnesota.

PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, awarded a $115 million contract late yesterday to Ames Construction, Inc., of Burnsville, Minnesota, to construct the Red River Control Structure portion of the Fargo, North Dakota/Moorhead, Minnesota, Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project, or FM Area Diversion.

PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, along with the Metro Flood Diversion Authority and the North Dakota Department of Transportation, will be closing multiple roads associated with the I-29 grade raise project. These road closures are expected to begin around April 1 and continue through the summer.

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, will have additional temporary closures at Lock and Dam 2 in Hastings, Minnesota, August 3 and 5 to properly align and seal the lock chamber’s new miter gates. The lock will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
